Great Easter Egg Hunt 2014
Under 11? Nothing to do on Good Friday?
Like chocolate? Then we have a treat for you.
Hi, parent or guardian, this bit's for you. The Beckenham Round Table Great Easter Egg Hunt 2014 will take place at the Croydon Road Recreation Ground, Beckenham on Good Friday (April 18th) from 10am until 2pm. Why not make more of a day of it? They'll be food and refreshments, stalls and face painting from Gingham Goose markets, as well as many other egg-citing attractions including Bouncy Castle & Face Painting as well as many other craft and food stalls.
Each year we try to anticipate the numbers of people who want to hunt, but please be patient if the queues are long. Instead of waiting in line why not try another activity, have a coffee - we'll try to make sure everyone get's a turn.
So how does it work? The hunt starts in the area around the bandstand. Each entrant is given a small bucket in exchange for the entrance fee. The cost of the hunt is £2.50 per child. The children are asked to collect a number of tokens that matches their age, so if your 5 you'll need to find five tokens. Once you've got your tokens return to the start to collect a prize. There's no advanced registration, just turn up, pay your money, collect a bucket and start hunting.
See you in the park.
Please make sure all entrants are accompanied by an adult (that's someone over 18) at all times. To ensure everyone gets a fair go, we limit the number of people collecting at any given time. At peak time (10am-11am) you may need to queue for a short time.
